The North Shropshire Wheelers were out in force last Wednesday evening with a good turn out for the evening 10’s series.
Roadworks on the planned Hawkstone Course meant riders switched to the classic Prees course, as they qualified for places in Jack Duckers Trophy.
James Neale was the fastest North Shropshire Wheeler coming in with a time of 24:20 closely followed by Gareth Brookes with 24:27.
Gino Trasatti was the third North home, crossing the line in 24:56.
Richard Berry finished in a time of 28:29 and Shaune Clorley crossed in 28:34.
Terry Price finished with a season’s best of 29:12 and Elaine Langley completed the course with a personal best of 32:30.
Phil Birch from 3CPS finished with the best time of the evening in 23:21.
The next meeting is June 12 at 6.30pm at Prees Cricket and Recreational Club.
