WITH the help of Britain’s Got Talent star, Ellesmere Brownies skipped their way towards earning a sporting badge.
The 2nd Ellesmere Brownies spent four hours skipping, bouncing and hula hooping in order to earn the sought-after sporting magic challenge badge in an event sponsored by the Ellesmere League of Friends charity shop.
The tiring event which took place on Saturday, May 18, at Ellesmere Town Hall involved 20 Brownies and a team of instructors from Jump Rope UK – one being a recent contestant on Britain’s Got Talent as part of group Jump Rope Revolution – High Energy Boogie Bounce from Shrewsbury and Hoolanation from Wrexham.
All 20 of the youngsters jumped for joy and showed great enthusiasm during the challenge, learning a whole host of new sports skills along the way.
