Tennis fans of all ages in Whitchurch were given a chance to enjoy some free coaching as part of a national participation weekend for the sport.
The Hollies Club, in Tarporley Road, held sessions at their base for the Nature Valley Great Tennis Weekend, which was was happening at clubs all over the country last weekend.
Yvonne Shrimplin, from the club, was delighted with how the day went and thanked all those who made it possible.
“Our first Nature Valley Great Tennis Weekend was lots of fun for all our visitors,” she said.
“Thanks to all our coaches.”
The morning started with sessions for juniors, with plenty of youngsters headed to the courts for the coaching.
Then in the afternoon it was the adult sessions with plenty of experienced and inexperienced players taking the time to work or get a taste.
