A team of fundraisers from Tesco in Ellesmere took on a charitable challenge on Saturday.
The group were running in the Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK held at Alyn Waters Country Park in Wrexham.
But the basic 5km challenge wasn't enough as the team opted for the 'Pretty Muddy' course featuring plenty of obstacles and, of course, lots of mud!
Wendy Mayer, Tesco Community Champion, explained that the shop regularly supports charities and local good causes, and those taking part in Saturday's event had been individually sponsored for the event.
