There are some things you can set your calendar by in Whitchurch.
And one is knowing when spring is in full swing as members of the Whitchurch Rotary Club, joined by their friends in the Inner Wheel Club, take to the top of Green End to plant new bulbs.
The piece of public gardening helps towards the upkeep of Whitchurch across the year and Rotary Club member David Hewitt was delighted.
"The Rotary Club of Whitchurch aided by ladies from the Inner Wheel Club have been busy planting up the raised flower beds near the traffic lights," he said
"The purchase of plants is helped by the financial support we receive from our sponsors Four Ways Self Drive.
"Spring bulbs have been trimmed back and summer bedding plants planted to provide a colourful display throughout the summer months."
