Shropshire Council says it will look into helping a Higher Heath resident maintain access after a bus stop was placed opposite house.
David Jackson contacted The Herald about a bus stop that was being built across the way from his home in Heathwood Road.
Mt Jackson lives with his wife in Heathwood Road in Higher Heath, between the A41 and A49 routes out of Whitchurch and towards Prees, and says the new bus stop is being built opposite his property.
He said he was hoping the council would put a lay by for the bus stop, instead of it currently parking along the road.
However, Shropshire Council say they will look at the issue.
Mark Wootton, Shropshire Council’s area manager – north and central, developing highways, said: “We are aware the situation and are assessing the problem.
"The provision of the bus stop follows the granting of planning permission, which included the widening of the highway carriageway at this point.”
