Tributes to store founder
Colour Supplies in Mill Street, Whitchurch, will be closed on Wednesday, May 15 as staff pay their respects to founder Henry Harding, who passed away last week.
The firm, which has branches in Whitchurch, Oswestry and Wrexham, made the announcement on Facebook, apologising for any inconvenience to customers.
Staff will be allowed to help celebrate the life of Mr Harding, 75.
In the post, many users paid tribute to the founder of the business.
One user, Simon Lunt said: “Very sorry for your loss. Such an amazing man, will never be forgotten.”
Jo Elson, another who posted on the story, said: “This is so sad to hear! Henry was a well respected man both in Whitchurch and in our family.
“We used to love a ride out in his new cars when Dad used to drive for him. Sending love to all who worked at Colour Supplies and to family at this sad time.”
Another post from Joannah Thelwell said: “So sad. I really liked Henry. We had many chats over the years.
“He always asked how me and the children were. Thinking of his family and friends and work colleagues.”
The headline on this story has been changed to reflect that the store is closing for one day only on May 15 and not permanently.
The Herald apologises for any inconvenience caused.
