Firefighters in Wem are still on the scene of a large barn fire at a school.
Four crews from across the area – Wem, Shrewsbury, Prees and Oswestry – were called to Woodlands School in Tilley Green at around 3.15pm on Friday after reports of a barn fire.
Shropshire Fire has confirmed that bales of hay, which were being stored in the barn, caught fire but firefighters are now dampening the fire down.
A spokeswoman also confirmed that nobody was in danger because of the fire at the school, which helps SEND pupils.
