FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze in Whitchurch on Wednesday morning.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 11.30am with reports of a fire in Alkington, Whitchurch.
On arrival, firefighters discovered a generator fire in a farmyard.
Two fire appliances from Wem and Whitchurch attended, along with an operations officer.
Crews used one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
The fire was put out by 11.45am.
