Whitchurch was bustling on Saturday with the return of the monthly Maker’s Market in the High Street.

Hundreds of visitors took advantage of the mild weather to head into town to find themselves a bargain, along the High Street and also in the Bullring and market hall too.

Plenty of four-legged friends were taken along for the day by their owners with food and refreshment stalls proving to be the busiest of the day.

There were plenty of options with hot food on sale as well as jams, sweets and stalls offering alcohol for later on.

There was also plenty of music to enjoy and a old-fashioned red London bus made an appearance at the top of the High Street.

The market is there for traders to show off their own handiwork, with photo frames and personalised cushions among the items to be sold on the day.

Whitchurch’s surrounding shops and coffee bars were also full as many came to the town to enjoy what the market had to offer.

The Makers Market is always on the first Saturday of the month and to book a stall, you can contact Zoë Dean at Whitchurch Town Council on 01949 665761 or by email at tcm@whitchurchcouncil.uk
