A Prees church had lead lead stolen off its roof last month. police say.
The offence was reported to police on March 30, but it is not known when the theft took place at St Chad's Church in Church Lane.
The theft came two days after lead was also taken from a garage roof at a house beside the A495 Ellesmere to Whittington road in Welsh Frankton, also in north Shropshire.
Householders noticed it had been stolen on March 28 with neighbours reporting seeing two people with a white van acting suspiciously at the property on March 25.
Anyone with information can call West Mercia Police on 101.
