Five primary school pupils from Tilston taking part in a ballet version of 'The Greatest Showman' have been praised by their headteacher.
Amelie Barry, Hermione Barry, Matilda Kehoe, Isabella Crompton and Sophia Hurst, who attend Cheshire's Tilston Primary School, will perform at the Storyhouse in Chester on Tuesday.
Kelsey Mort, head at the school in Church Road, believes they have been rewarded for their hard work.
"We are extremely proud of our ballet dancers, who will be performing in a ballet version of the Greatest Showman on the main stage at Storyhouse on April 9," she said.
"The dancers attend the Emily Moore School of Dance, Chester. Emily is one of our parents and it is great that both her hard work and the commitment and dedication of our pupils has been recognised and they will be showing their skills on the stage.
"The show sold out and extra tickets were released. It will be an amazing experience to perform to an audience of more than 1,000 people and we are extremely proud of their achievements."
Emily Crompton, from Emily Moore School of Dance, added: "My vision for the school has always been to make ballet and dance enjoyable for all, so to now be able to give my pupils of all ages and abilities the chance to perform at Storyhouse makes me incredibly proud.
"All of my pupils have worked so hard to perfect this wonderful show and I can’t wait for them to have the opportunity to show off their talent to a packed audience.”
