FIREFIGHTERS were called to an incident at a school in Prees on Tuesday morning.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received a call at 8.23am with reports of a property fire.
Fire engines from Prees and Whitchurch, along with an operations officer, were sent to Prees C of E Primary School in Cross End.
The fire involved a dishwasher at the school.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet, breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation to tackle the fire.
The fire was out by 8.53am.
The school is open as normal.
