Eddisbury MP Antoinette Sandbach has launched a poll on her personal website to gain her constituents views on Brexit after parliament gained control of the negotiating process this week.

Ms Sandbach, whose remit covers Malpas and its surrounding areas, as well as Audlem, voted against the government on Monday night on the Oliver Letwin amendment which is giving parliament a chance to put forward alternative solutions.

Later this week, it is anticipated the House of Commons will hold a series of indicative votes to discover what form of Brexit will secure the support of MPs in the event that prime minister Theresa May’s deal is rejected a third time.

“I am keen to ensure that as many of my constituents’ views as possible are factored into my thinking," she said.

"Therefore I have today put a new survey on my website seeking your views on the potential options we are likely to be asked to vote on.

“The survey is for Eddisbury constituents only. I want to gain as representative a sample as possible so please do encourage friends and family to take part and let me know their views.”

The survey can be access via www.antoinettesandbach.org.uk/share-your-views, and requires all questions to be answered before it can be submitted.
