EMERGENCY services were called to reports that a woman had fallen into a canal.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to reports that someone had fallen from a boat on the canal off Moors Lane, St Martins at around 1.20pm on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesman said: "One ambulance crew attended and, upon arrival at the scene, found a woman who was out of the canal and in pain. The crew treated a woman who had sustained an injury before she was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for further treatment."
A crew from Oswestry Fire Station was called to assist.
