Whitchurch residents concerned about their bodies and cancer were given support via a pop-up information centre on Friday.
The opportunity was given by practitioners from Macmillan Cancer Support in Watergate and they spoke with a number of people who raised their own concerns.
Macmillan staff Simon Gould and Hilary Gwilt, who have seen hundreds of people across north and central Shropshire over the past week, believe the service is important.
"We were there from 11am and saw a good volume of people," said Simon.
"We were in Wem and had a good turnout, despite the weather which hasn't helped. We also did Shrewsbury too which went well."
Hilary added: "We are an information service and a support service that's mobile.
"We want people to come to us about their concerns about cancer. We tried to help people here but if we can't, we signposting them to others.
"We talk about what Macmillan offers and it's a helpful service."
