Cheshire Fire Engine
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Ellesmere to rescue an animal on Monday.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 9.40pm with reports a dog had been found in the canal.
Fire engines from Ellesmere and Baschurch arrived at the scene where they were able to safely rescue the dog from the water.
An operations officer was also in attendance.
