A wedding venue based in Cheshire is getting ready for a summer open day after transforming an unused agricultural shed on their farm.

Grange Farm, based in Marbury, is owned by Tom and Sally Charlesworth and they are turning the shed into a unique wedding venue as part of a vision to create a rustic and relaxed barn venue.

Their plans were formed after their own wedding in 2016, as it was clear to them that this kind of venue was missing in the area.

The barn provided the family with a perfect opportunity to diversify as well as giving a rundown barn a new lease of life.

Tom and Sally said: "The family have been farming in the area for more than 30 years.

"The farm is now supporting three families so the need for business grow was pressing. This innovation of an unused farm asset will bring jobs and visitors to the rural area.

"The renovations will be completed in April and Grange Barn is hosting it’s Open Day on Sunday, June 16 between 1pm and 5pm. With amazing views over the countryside, this new venue is hoping to be a hit with brides and grooms to-be."
