FIREFIGHTERS spent six hours tackling a property fire at Prees Green on Saturday night.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 12.13am on Sunday morning with reports of a fire at a commercial property.
The commercial premises, measured at 50m x 20m, was around 70 per cent destroyed as a result of the blaze.
Fire engines from Hodnet, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, Wem and Prees were sent to the incident along with Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation Officers, Highways Agency and West Mercia Police.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet, a main jet and a thermal imaging camera to battle the blaze, and spent just under six hours at the incident.
The stop message was received at 6.07am.
There is now a fire investigation taking place.
