POLICE are appealing for witnesses following 'serious road traffic collision' on the A541 near Caerwys.
The road is curretly closed between Caerwys and Lixwm following the incident earlier today.
The collision occurred around 3.30pm and a diversion is in place.
Emergency services a present, with North Wales Fire and Rescue tweeting: "Fire Crews are currently in attendance at a serious road traffic collision on the A541 Denbigh to Mold Road. The road is currently closed. Please avoid this location if possible."

Meanwhile North Wales Police have tweeted: "Please be aware, the A541 between Caerwys and Lixwm will be closed for the foreseeable time due to a road traffic collision. Diversions are in place."
