It may have been cold on Saturday morning but that didn’t stop traders and customers from filling Whitchurch town centre for the monthly Makers’ Market.
Everything was on sale - from beautifully scented candles, to delicious pies, and locally-made honey, to delicate jewellery.
It was launched in 2017 and has been a staple of the town’s diary every since.
Tom Morrison, from the Berry Fresh Bakery in Malpas, said: “We come here every month.
“We really like the market for the fact that there is such a variety of stalls and we are all artisans.
“We also get a very good response from the public and we have very loyal customers who come to us.
“Plus, of course, Whitchurch is a lovely market town.”
Another regular to the monthly event is Alex Ellis, from Whitchurch-based Border Honey - north Shropshire’s largest bee operation.
He added: “We make sure we’re here every month.
“It’s always well supported.”
The Makers’ Market takes place on the first Saturday of the month and will return on Saturday, March 2.
