Mary Davis, as a youngster, will present at Malpas Field Club
The next meeting of Malpas Field Club will be on Wednesday, February 13 (7.45 pm), at Malpas High Street Church.
Mary Davis will present her illustrated reminiscences with the title ‘A Cheshire Lass: growing up in Malpas and Bradley’.
Mary’s talk will provide a fascinating insight into the life of a farming family during the years immediately after the Second World War, in the days before many modern luxuries such as affordable family cars, television and indoor flushing toilets.
