Children of staff members at Whitchurch's Grocontinental were given a New Year treat recently...oh yes they were!
‘Old King Cole’ provided fun and games for children attending the company's annual pantomime held at Prees Cricket and Recreation Club last week.
The pantomime is staged for families who work for the company and was attended by 120 guests. An entertainment company, West Midlands Children’s Theatre from Market Drayton, staged the performance and children enjoyed a selection of treats and refreshments during the interval.
Grocontinental’s human resources manager, Gemma Molyneux was delighted with how the afternoon went.
She said:“West Midlands Children’s Theatre really pulled out all the stops for us and it was great to see all the children having such a good time.
"There were plenty of laughs and lots of interaction with a number of children being invited up onto the stage to play their own starring roles.”
