It was busy end to 2018 for firefighters in Whitchurch.
Crews from Whitchurch and Wem were called out to a property fire in Broughall at 12.45 to reports of a chalet on fire.
A spokesperson said: "It was found to be a controlled burn with occupiers in attendance. No action was required by fire service personnel."
Then at 8.45pm one crew from Whitchurch was called out to Brookes Court in Mill Street after a small fire involving a candle holder broke out in a ground floor flat.
It was out on arrival.
And this afternoon one crew from Prees was called out to a rubbish bin fire in Lower Heath at around 4.40pm.
The crew used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
