Still time to catch comedy night tickets
Tickets remain for a chance to see one of comedy’s most unlikely duos in Whitchurch in March.
Angelos Epithemiou and Barry from Watford will take centre stage for ‘Live At The Civic’ at Whitchurch Civic Centre on Saturday, March 9.
Burger van owner Angelos is best known for his appearances on cult TV show Shooting Stars alongside Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves and went on to have his own show, The Angelos Epithemiou Show.
Octagenarian Barry, aged 85, is a popular fixture on Steve Wright’s BBC Radio 2 show.
Angelos & Barry record a podcast which is downloaded by more than 30,000 people a week and went on a sell-out tour together last year.
They will be supported on the night by Canadian cult comic Tony Law, who has appeared on the likes of Have I Got News For You and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and hotly-tipped Black Country musical comic Jonny Cole.
It will be hosted by resident MC Wayne Beese, who said: “We’re delighted to be bringing Angelos and Barry to Whitchurch.”
