Wem Town Council is appealing to any organisation or group in the area looking for funding to get in touch before the end of the Christmas break.
The council has posted on its Facebook page this week, saying: "Are you involved with a local organisation looking for grant funding?
"If so you may be interested in applying to the town council for a small grant. More details can be found on our website www.wem.gov.uk or contact the office.
"The closing date for 2019-20 applications is at 4pm on Friday, January 4 2019."

n On New Year's Eve, Wem Town Hall is showing Berliner Philharmoniker: New Year’s Eve Concert with Daniel Barenboim, starting at 4pm.
The music is by Maurice Ravel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
