There were Christmas festivities at Selattyn CofE Primary School which saw more than £1,500 raised for school resources.
The school held their annual Christmas Fair on Friday, December 7 which was officially opened by Shropshire Councillor Robert Macey.
There was a range of stalls and activities available for children and grown ups to enjoy, as well as hampers on offer ranging from the 'Sleigh of Slosh' to a 'Cosy Christmas Hamper'.
Organised by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the fair saw lots of donations from parents, carers and local businesses.
Claire Foulkes, a helper of the PTA, said the fair was well attended.
"It was a great day and everyone really enjoyed themselves," she said.
"We had lots of great donations, and a special raffle which saw people pay £5 and be in with the chance of winning a one hour flight in a 1953 Piper Pacer PA-22/20 Aircraft, which was donated by one of the parents."
The total amount raised at the fair was more than £,1500.
Claire added that this money would go towards children's resources at the school.
"We couldn't have done this without the generosity of parents, carers and businesses," she said.
