THE A49 Whitchurch Road is closed after a three-vehicle collision.
A van and two lorries were involved in the incident at Bradeley Green Lane in Whitchurch that was attended by emergency services at around midday on Friday.
Cheshire Police arrived at the scene along with a fire engine from Nantwich and one from Winsford.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “The incident came in to us at about 12pm.
“The road had to be closed as one of the HGVs involved was blocking the road in both directions.
“One of the lorry drivers was out of his vehicle when we arrived, and one was being cut out of the other HGV by firefighters.”
Land and air ambulance as well as Cheshire Police are also in attendance.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: “We were called to the incident at 11.57am.
“An air ambulance, advanced paramedic and road ambulance arrived at the incident to treat three patients.
“One patient suffered a leg injury and was trapped but has since been freed.
“One of the patients suffered minor injuries and another suffered a stomach injury.”
