Cheshire Police believe a man wanted in connection with assaulting a police officer and escaping lawful custody may be in Whitchurch.
They are asking public help to trace 34-year-old David Evanson, who is from Crewe and was recently living in Barn Croft Road.
Police want to question him about an incident in Timbrell Avenue on Thursday, October 15 that led to an officer being injured after pulling over a man in relation to driving offences.
Evanson is white, 5’ 9” tall with a slim build. He has short dark brown hair and blue eyes and is believed to be in either the Crewe or Whitchurch areas.
Anyone who sees Evanson or has any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 212154, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
