A jam-packed day of festivities helped to launch Christmas in Whitchurch on Saturday.
With everything from nativity events at St Alkmund's Church, to a festive fair in the Civic Centre, and a visit from Father Christmas himself in the Bullring, there was something for everyone.
The day culminated with the annual lantern parade and the switching on of the Christmas lights, which this year saw Citizen of the Year, Arthur Skitt, take the honourary role alongside Mayor of Whitchurch, Cllr Tony Neville.
Cllr Neville told the Whitchurch Herald that it is a "busy time of year" for the town's shops and welcomed the event.
And there was even some snow to add to the merriment.
