The Ellesmere Yarn Bombers have been busy again.
Several trees in Cross Street have been decorated with a frosty theme for the Christmas season.
Once again, many people have contributed to the project, working on their knitting and crochet in secret and joining together to brighten up the town.
“We wanted to do something Christmassy, in time for the festival,” said one of the secret knitters.
“We hope people enjoy the display. It’s great fun to do and really gives us a sense of community.”
The Yarn Bombers haven’t set up their own charity collection this time, hoping instead that if anyone enjoys their work they will donate to the Rotary Tree of Light.
The Ellesmere Yarn Bombers previously attacked the town with their knitted art earlier this year, with money raised going to Our Space.
