Firefighters from across north Shropshire were called out to a property fire in Calverhall late on Tuesday night.
Crews from Prees and Whitchurch were joined by colleagues from Market Drayton and Tweedale at around 11.20pm for a fire involving an electrical and linen cupboard around the kitchen area of a property in the village.
Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one covering jet to put out the blaze while getting air to the property too.
They spent around three hours at the scene before it was made safe.
