A DEESIDE man left a mark after he grabbed his partner around the throat during an argument.
The victim tried to escape but Roger Diduch, 40, chased her out into the street and attempted to drag her back.
As he was doing so he gripped her by the face, again leaving a mark, prosecutor Rhian Jackson told North East Wales Magistrates Court at Mold.
Diduch, of Princes Street in Connah’s Quay, admitted assaulting Ewelina Cyc at Green Lane in Shotton on October 24.
District judge John Maxwell rebailed him pending sentence on December 3.
He is not to approach her or contact her via social media, he is not to go to her home, and child contact is to be arranged via a third party.
Prosecutor Rhian Jackson said it was a case of domestic violence.
There were allegations that he had been violent towards her in the past amid claims that he had thrown water at her.
On October 24 it was alleged that during an argument he grabbed her around the throat.
She tried to escape and he chased her out into the street and tried to drag her back into the house.
“In doing so he gripped her by the face which also left a mark,” the prosecutor said.
