Children’s charity The Wingate Centre has planned another Winter Wonderland event to raise vital funds to support children with complex needs.
The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury makes a real, tangible difference to the lives of children with disabilities and, as only a small charity, relies on the kindness of individuals within our community to help them do this.
On Saturday December 8 from 10am-1pm, at the Centre itself, the charity will open it’s doors to everyone for the Wingate Winter Wonderland event which plays a very important part in their fundraising calendar.
The Wingate elves are currently busy in their grotto planning a fabulously festive family event with lots of activities for all to enjoy, including a visit from Santa himself.
Victoria Robinson from The Wingate Centre said: “We are delighted to be holding another Winter Wonderland event this year.
"Last year’s event was a huge success and we are hoping to make this year even better. There will be carol singing, crafts stalls, a sparkling performance by Elsa from Frozen and of course our grand raffle.
"All fundraising from the event will enable us to continue to provide amazing experiences and brighten the lives of children and we couldn’t do this without the wonderful support from our local community.”
Entry to the event is free with a small charity donation to meet Santa is his grotto.
