A DAY out at the football is no longer as scary as it once was but visitors to Yockings Park, home of Whitchurch Alport, last Saturday would have been terrified.
Not by the result, with Alport slipping up to a rare home defeat, but the grotesque and scary costumes donned by supporters and volunteers there following their Hallowe'en themed beer festival at the club.
Supporters of all ages got into the spirit of things by donning full witch's outfits, Death himself was minding the bar and an unruly skeleton youngster had 'no body' to play with.
The event is the latest in a number at Yockings to attract new fans.
