FIRE services were called to an out of control bonfire in Ellesmere yesterday (Saturday, November 3).
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) Fire Control received a call reporting an open fire at 8.12pm which proved to be an out of control bonfire.
A spokesman for SFRS said: “We received a call reporting an out of control bonfire which was about three-square metres involving two trees.
“One fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere Fire Station.
“There were no casualties and the fire had been put out by 8.35pm.”
