North Wales Fire Engine
Cheshire firefighters were called to a house fire in Malpas late on Saturday night.
One crew from Malpas were joined by colleagues from Chester after reports of a log burner fire in a house in Rookery Road in Tilston at around 8pm.
They arrived at the property to find smoke spreading to the neighbouring attic but soon removed the log burners from the hearth and checked both properties with a thermal imaging camera.
Once this was complete, they deemed the two properties safe and left the scene.
