CASH was stolen in an early morning raid at a supermarket ATM.

West Mercia Police are investigating the burglary at Tesco in White Lion Meadow at around 12.30am yesterday Tuesday, August 28.

Officers have asked for the public’s help to trace five people seen committing the offence.

They are also keen to know the whereabouts of a car seen in the area on the evening of the offence.

Insp Tracy Ryan, of West Mercia Police, said that the offenders used tools to break into the machine and steal the cash draw.

The amount of cash that was taken in the burglary is not yet known.

A member of the public called police after seeing five figures at the cash machine.

Officers are keen to receive information on dark coloured Audi estate seen in the area on the evening of the incident.
