A PASSENGER was taken to hospital after a car overturned near Wem.
Police, firefighters and the ambulance service were called to the crash outside Broughton Farm in Alderton, near Wem at around 4.45pm on Monday (August 27).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said that a woman in her 40s was treated for a hand injury and a man in his 30s for hand and wrist injuries.
Both were taken to hospital but the spokesman added that the inuries are not thought to be serious.
Firefighters from Wem attended, but a Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that no-one was trapped in the vehicle.
