There will be a special quiz night at Whitchurch's Civic Centre on Wednesday in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The event is being organised by students and young people taking part in National Citizens Service and will start at 6.15pm in the bar lounge area.
All monies raised will be donated to the charity and there will be drinks and refreshments provided on the evening.
Businesses in the town have donated raffle prizes, while there will also be donation buckets too.
Entry is £4 per adult and £2 per child.
