POLICE are investigating the theft of a vehicle from a building site near Wem.
A red and black Manitou Telehandler was stolen from Higher Road, Harmer Hill at around 1am on Tuesday, August 7.
The vehicle was later recovered in a building in Ellesmere Road, Shrewsbury.
Anyone with information on the theft can contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference 0178s 070818, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
- OFFICERS are also investigating the theft of two staddle stones and antique urns from a harden in Wood Lane, Burlton, between 11am and 3pm on Thursday, August 2 (Incident reference: 0599s 020818).
Meanwhile, ornamental pots of flowers and staddle stones (stone mushrooms) were stolen from a garden at Hardwicke, near Hadnall, between 10pm on August 1 and 8am the next day (Incident reference: 0163s 020818).
