Thousands of people flooded into Whitchurch last weekend for a festival of junior rugby at the town's club.
Children of all ages took part from Wales to Rochdale at the Whitchurch Mini and Juniors Rugby Festival on Sunday, April 22 when they also welcomed teams from the local clubs which resulted in more than 2,000 people being in attendance to watch some fantastic rugby by the younger teams.
Neil McIver, chairman of the Minis and Juniors section, said admitted he was delighted by the turnout.
"I am overwhelmed by the sportsmanship both on and off the pitch and level of rugby being played by children as young as six," he said.
"It was lovely to welcome the founders of the section and I know they had a good day watching the children in a festival that they started 40 years ago. I can't thank the team that put this together, it really was a great day!"
If anyone is interested in joining the mini and juniors section please contact the club via the Facebook page and remember Band, Bangers and Flash on October.
