Plans to convert farm buildings near Whitchurch into five homes have been approved.

Applicants C. & S. Homes LLP had already received permission to convert the building at Church Farm in Calverhall in September 2013, but resubmitted the proposal with alterations in September 2017.

As part of the conversion outbuildings will be used to form garages, while there will be 17 parking spaces.

The properties will include one two-bedroom home and four three-bedroom homes.

Case officer Sue Collins said: "While the proposal has changed slightly from that previously approved these changes are not considered significant to the buildings.

"Initially concerns were raised regarding the proposal, but the amended plans have overcome the concerns of officers in the impact they will have on the character and appearance of the existing barns."
