Shropshire firefighters on call to put out van blaze near Wem
Firefighters from Wem and Prees were called to a van fire in Quina Brook in the early hours of this morning.
Both crews were called to the incident, at around 12:55am, in Pepper Street and used a hosereel jet plus four breathing apparatus to put out the fire in the engine bay and the cab.
They also used a thermal imaging camera to check the fire was out.
Shropshire Fire was there for around 25 minutes while West Mercia Police was also on the scene.
