A WHITCHURCH legal firm has added to its ranks with the appointment of a new commercial property solicitor.

Chris Porter, who is also a Fellow of the ALA (Agricultural Law Association) joined Hibbert's Whitchurch branch, in St Mary's Street, this month.

He said: "I am very proud of my past achievements which include tripling the size of the commercial property department in a previous law firm and, more recently creating a new law firm for an employer which was licenced by the SRA in 2017.

"I'm really excited about the opportunities for growth and development of our commercial offering at Whitchurch.”

Chris has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial sector on a variety of matters and hris has worked in both national and international law firms and his extensive knowledge in the commercial property sector comes from dealing with high net-worth individuals, acting for FTSE 100/250 companies and handling a number of high profile commercial property transactions over many years.

More notable recent instructions include advising on retail leases at the Trafford Centre and advising two farming business in connection with implementation of a nationally important infrastructure project based in Cheshire.
