JASON DONOVAN

(Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury, Sept 5)

Jason Donovan brings his one-man show, My Amazing Mid-life Crisis, to Shrewsbury for adoring fans.

The former Aussie soap star and legend of the West End stage is celebrating his 50th birthday and with a wealth of tantalising tales under his belt, this autobiographical show will zigzag back and forth through his life.

Donovan made his first television appearance at age 11 in a guest role on the Australian series Skyways in 1980. In the episode, his on-screen sister was played by future Neighbours co-star Kylie Minogue. His Neighbours character Scott's story arc included an onscreen romance and wedding to Charlene Mitchell (played by Minogue), and helped boost the show's popularity with British as well as Australian audiences.

There will be stories about Neighbours, Ten Good Reasons, Kylie, Joseph, I'm A Celebrity, Strictly and much, much more.

Hear some new stories (and possibly one or two you’ve heard before!) plus some of the songs you know and love. A night like no other!

n Tickets are available for £26.50 with friends of the theatre receiving 10 per cent off. The show starts at 7.30pm and ring 01743 281 281 for more.
