Kelsey is St Helens born and bred and is the Chief Reporter of the St Helens Star newspaper covering breaking, national and local news and entertainment. She previously worked solely on the Leigh Journal newspaper, which she currently still writes for as a secondary title. She has worked for Newsquest as a journalist for eight years and during that time has helped campaign for Violet-Grace's Law and Helen's Law.
