J team take big chance

WITH Overton A not playing, AWC J went top of the Whitchurch Snooker League Premier Division after beating Malpas SC A 3-2.

Raven A moved ominously into second place after winning at Malpas SC B 5-0. Bob Dubicki made a 43 break for the visitors.

Newcomers AWC F are fourth after a good 3-2 win at Wem Cons A. District A beat District B 4-1. Sam Amos was the B side’s winner.

Bickley B stay top of Division One after beating Calverhall 4-1. Bickley G are a clear second after beating Moreton Saye A 4-1.

AWC E won a low scoring match at Malpas A 3-2. AWC B lost at home to Bickley F 3-2 and Raven B beat Wem Cons D 4-1.

In Division Two leaders AWC M lost at Bickley E 3-2. Raven D lost to rivals Raven C 4-1 with Karl Dooris making a 50 break for the C side.

AWC C beat District E 4-1. Bill Young the visitors’ victor . AWC H beat rivals AWC K 3-2.

Prees A whitewashed Malpas Farms A 5-0 and Malpas SC C beat Moreton Saye B 4-1.

Leaders in Division Three, District F, beat Ash B 4-1.

AWC D jumped to second place after beating club rivals AWC N 5-0 and Malpas D beat District C 4-1.

Bickley C still lead in Division Four after beating Malpas B 4-1.

Overton B lost ground by losing at home to Malpas SC F 3-2. District D won at Malpas Farms C 3-2 and Malpas Farms B won at District G 3-2.
