Pupils’ shoebox gifts to world’s needy children

BOXES full of gifts for children in some of the poorest parts of the world have been put together by pupils at St Mary's School, Overton.
They have been keenly supporting the annual Operation Christmas Child charity, and have amassed a huge pile of boxes, which will soon by flying out of the UK to their various destinations in time for Christmas.
Packing up some of the boxes are, bottom row, left to right, George Buttress, Harry Evans, Olivia Hollingsworth, Beth Edwards and Alex Kokic, and back row, Jack Parkyn, Joseph Bateman and Luke Ratcliffe.
