Stone Old Alleynians 1-2 Ellesmere Rangers
Rangers made it five wins out of five to maintain the superb start under new joint-management pair Jamie Haynes and Kevin Sandwith.
The Meresiders kept the pressure on the top four with the win over third-from-bottom Alleynians in what is proving to be a storming end to the season.
On Saturday, they host Pegasus Juniors at Beech Grove for a 3pm start.
Division One
Wem Town 4-1 Telford Juniors
The BOWENSFIELD Men kept up their charge towards the Division One title with a convincing win over Telford Juniors.
The visitors proved to be a stubborn side to break down as they looked to frustrate Wem, who hold a nine-point lead over Newport Town, albeit with two extra games played.
Wem finally wore the Juniors down through goals from Dave Walbyoff – who helped himself to a brace – plus Tom Astley and Callum James. They don't play again until March 10 with a home clash with Wyrley.

Prees 2-1 Shifnal United 97
Prees kept the heat on leaders Oakengates Athletic with a tight win over bottom club Shifnal.The win keeps the Rec Men a point behind the leaders with a game in hand.
They can go top as they head to Athletic on Saturday.
